We install all the power and lighting for the space, we also designed complete 3D renders that took into account all the right lighting levels.

In total, we installed over 100 LED panel lights in the offices and architecture-designed and manufactured linear LEDs in the open cathedral ceilings. We also installed all power requirements for the 50+ new workstations, a new kitchen, and updated bathrooms.

The result was a bright, airy, modern space that Defence Australia can be proud of—and one that will help them attract and retain top talent.

The Challenge: An Outdated Warehouse in Desperate Need of an Upgrade

When Defence Australia approached Lightspeed Electrical about renovating an old warehouse, they knew they needed more than just a power and lighting upgrade. The goal was to create a bright, modern space that would appeal to today’s workforce—but first, they had to overcome some major challenges.

Our Solution: A Bright, Airy Workspace That’s Ready for the Future

We started by installing LED panel lights in the office area, which brightened up the space and helped cut down on energy costs. We also added linear LEDs throughout the open cathedral ceilings to add ambient light without washing out the room.

This gave employees a much more comfortable and functional workspace that would make them want to come to work every day.
